The Day Prior to was just recently delayed from March to November and although a legal conflict over the name was cited as the reason at first, the team noted that it planned to delay the game before that. With that said, perhaps the game will look a bit more exciting closer to release. It appears as time goes on, more and more people lose interest in the title and are even deeming it a fraud.

The Day Prior to simply had its long-awaited gameplay reveal, and it does not appear like it was received very well. It’s a bit like if The Department and The Last of Us crossed over together to develop a zombie-ridden apocalypse where gamers are just as fatal as the undead. It’s 10 minutes of raw gameplay, no scripted moments or conversations, just somebody playing the game.

It was largely simply two gamers wandering empty, gray streets and periodically looting some supplies. The few zombies they came across weren’t truly a problem either, as they would immediately weapon them down without even a care for their ammunition. It definitely got rid of a great deal of the stress that includes a zombie survival video game.
