The first Snape Legacy was a Roguelike where, after your death, your ancestor tried to storm the castle to avenge your loss. Your ancestor would come with genetic differences and sometimes complications. These features included a daltonism, a dextrocardy, a hypochondriac, a tunnel vision or even dementia, making them insane to control. The list was long. Rogue Legacy 2 will have a lot of the same features, giving your children who try to take revenge on you to do better than you. The game arrives on PC on August 18, but when does it happen for consoles?

We do not have the answer to this question. We can use Rogue Legacy history to at least recognize that you can expect to see it on consoles in the future. The first game finally found its way to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It took almost a year to arrive on the Sony consoles, so we can probably expect to see it less than a year after its launch on PC, perhaps even earlier since PlayStation 5 should come out During the 2020 holidays.

When we know the exact date of the arrival of Rogue Legacy 2 on the consoles, we will update this page. We hope it will become widely available on all platforms, but it could be staggered. The first Rogue Legacy arrived on PlayStation almost a year after the release on PC, then on Xbox One in 2015 and on Switch in 2018. Hopefully that because of the proven popularity of the game, we will be able to see it all happen to all Players much earlier.
