Prove your innocence in Yurukill: The Calumniation Games
Project mixing both visual novel, escape game and shooting game, yurukill: The Calumniation Games will be released on July 8, 2022. The title, developed by the Japanese publisher G.REV, is published by Nis America for its Western release. He will be available on Steam, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
The story, based on a script written by the author of the manga gambling School, Homura Kawamoto, makes us follow 11 characters gathered in a strange place by the name of Yurukill Land. Among these 11 characters, 6 are criminals sentenced to heavy prison terms. The other 5 are victims of the crimes perpetrated. Their host Binko, a woman wearing a fox mask, quickly explains to them that criminals will be able to try to win their freedom on the condition of surviving the various attractions of the park around them. And for that, prisoners (criminals) and executioners (their victims) will have to team up.
If survival will of course be at the center of the plot, the accused will above all have to obtain the forgiveness of their partner. As an accused, it will be necessary to collect evidence in the narrative phases to try to prove its innocence. By overcoming the tests, they will gradually win their redemption with the victims.
