U21-EM | German team wants to make in Osnabrück qualification perfect
The German U21 national team will deny their EM qualifying match against Hungary on 3 June in Osnabrück.
This was announced by the German Football Covenant.
The team of Chef Trainer Antonio di Salvo already reaches a draw against the Magyars (18:15 / ProSieben Maxx) for direct qualification as a group player for the European Championship in Romania and Georgia (9 June to 2 July 2023).
The first leg won the DFB-ELF in October 2021 with 5: 1.
“Through the last results in our group, we have developed an optimal starting position,” said Di Salvo.
“Now, together with our fans in the last home game of the season, we want to make clear the European Championship quality and group victory. We hope for a lot of support in Osnabrück.”
Four days after the Hungary game, the German U21 applies her last EM qualifying game in Poland on 7 June.
Germany performs the qualification group B with 21 points in front of Israel (16) and Poland (15).
