England mourns around 1966

The football motherland England mourns for one of his biggest strikers. Jimmy Greaves, World Champion of 1966 and Club Icon of Tottenham Hotspur, died on Sunday morning at the age of 81 years. That said the SPURS.

The club showed extremely sad about the death of his record hunter. For the Three Lions Greaves achieved proud 44 goals in 57 international matches. At the 1966 World Cup, he was used in all three group games, but lost his regular place injury due to the later final heroes Geoff Hurst.

Still during his career, Greaves had to fight with great alcohol problems. I completely lost the 1970s, he said once, from 1972 to 1977 I was drunk throughout. In 1980 he was farewell to the active football and reorganized itself as a popular expert. Since a stroke of 2015 he was sitting in a wheelchair.
